The Farm Monthly Program invites children into the living rhythms of the seasons through meaningful experiences on a beautiful working farm. Rooted at Cottonwood Rose Farm in Black Creek, this monthly Friday program offers a place where children can slow down, get their hands in the soil, care for animals, explore the surrounding landscape, and discover a deeper sense of belonging with the land, one another, and themselves.

Guided by Danu's nature connection philosophy, each gathering blends hands-on farm experiences with playful exploration, storytelling, and seasonal skills. Children are invited to notice the subtle changes of the seasons, and depending on the time of the year children may help tend the gardens, spend time with the friendly goats, press apples, learn to process foods,  build shelters, practice fire skills, play nature games, wander the forests and fields, or simply sit quietly and observe the living world around them.

One of the many gifts of Cottonwood Rose Farm is its beautiful covered gathering space, complete with a wood stove, allowing us to stay warm, dry, and connected through every season while continuing to work, create, and learn together.

The Farm Monthly Program offers children an opportunity to build confidence through meaningful work, nurture lasting friendships, and develop a heartfelt relationship with the natural world. It is a place where curiousity is welcomed, responsibility grows naturally, and joy is found in the simple rhythms of farm life.

Co-led by Danu directors Allie and Dani, Farm Monthly is a year of muddy boots, fresh harvests, animal friends, laughter, and unforgettable adventures.
