When we engage with our dreams we find an inexhaustible resource for deepening our inner life as well as our connection to soul and the strange blessing of being alive.

Dreamwork is not dream interpretation. It involves revisiting dreams so that we can fully experience them, so that their deep emotions and underworld energies can work on us. This is difficult to do alone because we are full of resistances to what might transform us.

This course teachers techniques from the tradition of the Animas Valley Institute (Bill Plotkin) continuing a lineage from Carl Jung, and contemporary practitioners such as Robert Bosnak and Jill Mellick, to work dynamically with your dreams,

alone, in groups, and in dialogue with a fellow dreamworker.

Over 7 weeks you will learn techniques to:

  • Remember your dreams, and respond to them

  • Re-enter your dreams, and be reshaped by conversation with your inner world

  • Re-discover dreams as a primary resource for navigating life and relationships.

No previous experience is necessary, and if you don't regularly remember your dreams that will change fast after learning a few tricks taught in Week 1.

Note: this is NOT a course in dream interpretation - it is expressive, reflective group dreamwork designed to apprentice us to the mysteries of our dreaming and the dreaming of the world.

This approach to working with dreams draws on old and new knowledge, but is grounded in an ancient respect for dreams and their mysteries. We are not seeking to "figure out" our dreams, but to get deeper into them, so that perhaps we can figure ourselves out a little by following their guidance.

Come to learn, to share, and to dream into your deeper life.

Kes

"Working with Kes has re-ignited a sense of spiritedness I have not experienced since I was a young boy. His well-honed skills in bushcraft, song, and storytelling are not the focus; they support an experience of ease, facilitate encounters with mystery, and provoke curiosity and wonder. Don’t struggle alone when there’s a guide like Kes to walk beside."
